RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY' OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATIOH TO
RUTH N. SAWYER
OFON HER RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, Ruth N.. Sawyer retired on March 3, 1987 as Control/
Account Specialist for the Accounting services Division of the Finance
Department; and
WHEREAS, Ruth N. sawyer was employed for 22 continuous years
with the City of Palo ~lto; and
WHEREAS, Ruth N. Sawyer's knowledge and abilities made her an
exceptional employee and worker; and
tJHEREAS, Ruth N. Sawyer's personal services to the hundreds ot
City staff and citizens who transacterl business at the City's
accounting office was unexcelled; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize her superior
work ard acknowledges the loss of a respected and dedicated employee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby gr~tefully records its appreciation for the citizens
of the community for outstanding service rendered by Ruth N.. Sawyer
during her 22 years of employment, and extends its sincere wishes for
a healthy and prosperous retirement.
