RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF TH! CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING TBE PALO AT.TO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY CHANG-
ING THE LAND USE DE~IGNATION OF THE PROPERTY AT
1755 EMBARCADERO ROAD FROM PUBLIC PARKS
TO RESEARCH/OFFICE PARK
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a review and
on I>e~ellber 17, 1986, held a proFarly-noticed yublic hearing to
consider amendment to the Palo A~co Comprehensi~e Plan: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palo Alto on
February 17, 1997, held ~ properly-noticed public he&ring to
consider amendment to the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan.
NOW1 THEREFORE, the Council Of t.he City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follO'tfs=
SECTION 1. The Council find~ that changed conditions and ~he
public 1ntsrest, health, safety, and welfare require aaendment to
t.he Palo Alto Comprehensive Pl&n as set forth in sect.:.on 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby aaends the Palo Alto Compro-
bensive Plan ag followa1
Land Use Pl¥n Ma~:
a. Change the land use designation of the property at
1755 Embarcadero Road from Public Parks to
Research/Office Park, as shown on a map attached
hereto as Eihibit A and incorpo~ated herein by
this reference.
SECTIC~ J. The Council hereby finds that the adoption of
this resolution will not cause any significant environ•ental
i•pact.
