RESOLUTION NO. 6574
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AUTHORIZING FILING OF AN APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS
FROM THE STA~E OF CALIFORNIA COASTAL CONSERVANCY AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE APPLICATION,
ANY CONTRACT ARISING TREREFROM, OR ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS
INCIDENTAL TO A GRANT OFFER, AWARD, AND ACCEPTANCE IN
CONJUNCTION WITH AN ENHANCEMENT PLAN FOR HABITATS
~EAR THE ITT SITE AND FLOOD BASIN
WHEREAS, the Co~ncil of the City of Palo Alto has currently
authorized a~ environmental analysis of the discharge location for
the Regional Water Quality Control Plant; and
WHEREAS, the Coastal Conservancy ha9 grant !unds available
for resource conservation purposes7
NOW, THEREFOR~, the Counc.il of the ':it.y of Palo Alto does
hereby RESOLVE as follows:
SF·'.:"IION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign and
file an application with the State of ("alifornia Coastal
Conserv3ncy for grant funds.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign any
grant award, grant contract, or other incidental documents as
required in conjunction witn the gra~t.
