RESOLUTION NO. 6573 ORIGINAL
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AND ADOPTIN3 A NEW NO PARKING ZONE ON
MANUELA AVENUE
WHEREAS, there is a need to establish a new zune whe~~
parking shall ~e prohibited at any time, in order to maintain the
safe, orderly flow of traffic in the City of Palo ~lto' and
WHEREAS, Palo Alto Municipal Code section 10.44.010 enables
the City Council to establish by resolution such parking
res~~ictlons or prohibitions as may be necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City o~ Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council hereby establishes a •no parking at
aHy time1 zone on the east side of Manuela Avenue from Arastradero
Road to the Palo Alto City limits and on the wesl side of Manuela
Avenue from Oak Hill Avenue to a point approximately twenty feet
south of the driveway leading to 4182 Manuela Aver.ue, as
identified in Exhibit B, attached hereto and incorporated by
reference.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this project is
categorically exempt from the california Environmental Quality Act
under Class 1 (minor alteration$ to exist!ng public facilities)
and nc further environmental assessment is necessary.
