RESOLUTI()~ OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ~l
EXPRESSING ITS APPRECIATION TO
THE MEMBERS OF THE CIVIC CENTER PLAZA COMMITTEE
FOR OUT~TANDING PUBLIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, the members of the Civic Center Plaza Committee
included Tony Carrasco, Aino V'ieira-da-Rosa, Darren Kipper, ~c.phtali
Knox (Chairperson), Mary Jean Place {Vice-Cha ;.rparson), Jeffrey
Sawastuk, Derk Vyn, and Linn Winterbotham; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Civic Center Plaza ~ommittee ,..?-Ve
served the Ci. ty of Palo Al to from December 15, l 9S4 to October 4,
1986; and
WHEREAS, the members of tbe Civic Center Plaza Ccmmittee
unselfishly devoted their time and expertise to develop guidelines for
the redesign of the Civic Cent~X' Plaza, select a design col1sultant,
assist in the devalopment of the conceptual design, and review t.h6
final design during the Site and Design Review process; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto w!.shes to acknowl~dge and thank
the members of the Civic Center Plaza Committee for their outstanding
public service to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the ~ouncil of the City of
Pa1o Alto hereby gratefully records i~s appreciation, as well as the
appreciation of th& citizens of the comraunity for outstanding public
service rendered by the members of the Civic Center Plaza Committee.
