RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCJ!_. OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE PAfjO Al./tO C:-MPREHENSIVE PLAN BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE Q~SIGNATION OF THE PROPERTY
AT 2995 MIDDLEFIELD ROAD FROM MULTIPLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL TO NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
WHEREAS, the Planni "lg Corrmission has conducted a review and
on September 24, 1986, held a properly-noticed public hearing to
consider amendme~t to the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palo Alto on
October 20, 1986, held a ~roperly-noticed public hearing to
consider a~endment to the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council finds that changed conditions and the
public interest, he&l th, safety and welfare rei;;uire amendment to
the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan as set forth in section 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby C\mends the Palo Alto Col>ipre-
hensive Plan as follows:
Land Use Plan Map:
a. Change the land use designation of the property at
2995 Middlefield Road from Multiple Family Residen-
tidl to Neighborhood Commercial, gS shown on a map
attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated
herein by this reference.
