RESOLUTION OF THe COUNCIT. OF TH'~E=--'!!C~I~T~Y OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE CITlWIDE STOP INTERSECTION SYSTEM MAP
WHEREAS, a Stop Intersection System Map was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Palo Alto in Resolution No. 42911 and
WHEREAS, traffic situations necessitate the amendment of the Stop
Intersection System Map from time to time.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The modifications to the existing stop sign system, as
set forth in Exhibits 19, 23 and 27 attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference, are hereby adopted as an amendment to the City of
Palo Alto's •stop Intersection System Map.•
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this project is categorically
exempt from the requirements of the california Environmental Quality
Act and does not require an environmental assessment.

westbound trafff c on san Antonio Way east of Brtarwood because thfs traffic fs
penrltted to •te only a rfght turn and does not cause any conflfcts.
Recomendatfon: Staff recommends that a stop sfgn be installed on the off-ra11p
frOll San Xritonfo Road at Briarwood and no stop sfgn be installed on San Antonio
Way.
