RESOLUTION OF COUNCIL OF T~H~E~C~l~T~~..--,O~F~ PALO ALTO
AMENDING SCHEDULE W-l OF THE CIT1 OF
PALO ALTO UTI~ITIBS RATES ANO CHARGES
PERTAINING TO GENERAL ~ATP.R SERVICE
The council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION l. Pursuant to Section 12. 20. 010 of the Palo Alto Muni-
cipal Code, Schedule W-1 (General Water Service) of the Palo Alto
Utilities Rates and Charges is hereby amended to read as sho·.itn on
Sheet w-1-1, attached hereto and incorporated herein1
SECTION 2. This Council finds th.at the revenue derived from the
authorized adjustments of said rates by the City Manager shall be used
only for the purposes set forth in the Palo Alto City Charter, Article
VII, Section 2, entitled •public Utilities Revenue•. The adoption of
this resolution, is, therefore, specifically exempted under Public
Resources Code Section 21080(b)(8) from the requirements of CEQA.
SECTION 3. The foregoing changes shall become effective on the
date that the City of San Francisco makes effective a corresponding
wholesale rate reduction in Palo Alto's purchase price for water which
is expected to be August 1, 1986.
