RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE PALO ALTO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY CHANG-
ING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE PROPER.TIES AT
9 l 3-95 l EMERSON STREET FROM SERVICE COMMERCIAL TO
NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a review and
on January 8, January 21, February 12, and February 20, 1986, held
a properly-noticed public hearing to consider amendments to the
Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan1 and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palo Alto on April
21 and May 12, 1986, held a properly-noticed public hearing to
consider amendment to the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFCRE, the Council of the City of Palo Al to does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council finds that changed conditions and the
public interest, health, safety, and welfare require an amendment
to the Palo Al to Comprehensive Plan as set forth in section 2
hereof.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby amends the Palo Alto compre-
hensive Plan as follows:
Land Use Plan Map:
a. Change the land use designation of the properties at
913-951 Emerson Street from Service Commercial to
Neighborhood Commercial, as shown on a map attached
hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this
reference.
