RESOLUTION NO. 6536
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE PALO ALTO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY CHANG-
! NG THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE PROPERTIES AT
217-291 AND 325-329 ALMA STREET; 120 HAWTHORNE
AVENUE; 212-258 1 247-301 AND 324 HIGH STREET; AND
115 AND 163 EVERETT AVENUE FROM REGIONAL/COMMUNITY
COMMERCIAL '!'() NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a review and
on January 8, January 21, February 12, and February 20, 1986, held
a properly-noticed public hearing to consider amendments to the
Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palo Alto on April
21 and May 12, 1986, held a properly-noticed public heari"ig to
consider amendments to the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alt:.;.", do~~
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council finds that changed conditions and the
public interest, health, safety, and welfare require amendments to
the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan as set forth in section 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby amends the Palo Alto Compre-
hensive Plan as follows:
Land use Plan Map:
a. Change the land use designation of the properties at
217-291 and 325-329 Alma Street1 120 Hawthorne
Avenue 1 212-258, 247-301 and 324 High Street; and
115 and 163 Everett Avenue from Regional/Community
Commercial to Neighborhood Commercial, as shown on a
map attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated
herein by this reference.
