RESOLUTION NO. 6505
RES~LUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
REPEALING RESOLUTION NOS. 6146, 6274, AND 6314
ESTABLISHING DISCLOSURE AND OTHER CONDUCT REQUIRE-
MENTS ON CITY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES DURING THE
CABLE TELEVISION PROCESS
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 6146 relating to
disclosure and other conduct requirements on City officials and em-
ployees during the Cable Television Process1 and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6146 was subsequently amended by Resolu-
tions Nos. 6274 and 6314; and
WHEREAS, these resolutions were adopted in order to assure that
the process leading to an award of a cable television frar.chise be
conducted in a fair, open, and public manner; and
WHEREAS, said process is now complete and, therefore, there is no
longer a need for th~se resolutions;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Ci~y of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. Resolution Nos. 6146, 6274, and 6314 are hereby re-
pealed.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this resolution is not a proj-
ect under the California Environmental Quality Act and, therefore, no
environmental impact assessment is necessary.
