RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CIT'i OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE PALO ALTO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN RY AMEND-
ING THE LA.~D USE DESIGNATION FOR THE PROPERTY KNOWN
AS 1431 WAVER~EY STREET PROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDEN-
TIAL 1'0 MAJOR INSTITUTION/SPECIAL FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the Planning commission has conducted a revie~ and
on February 26, 1986, held a properly-noticed public hearing to
consider amendment of the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan: and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on March 24, 1986, held a
properly-noticed public hearing to consider such amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council finds that changed conditions and the
public interest, heal th, safety and welfare require amendment to
the Pale ~lto Comprehensive Plan as set forth in section 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The council hereby amends the Palo Alto Compre-
hensive Plan as follows:
Land use Plan Map
(a) Change the land use designation of the proper-
ty at 1431 Waverley Street from Single Family Residen-
tial to Major Institution/Special Facilities, as shown
on the map attached hereto as Exhibit •A" and incorpo-
rated herein by this reference.
