RESOLUTION NO. 6438
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PALO ALTO ADOPTING AN URBAN WATER
MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto is an urban water supplier within
the meaning of. that phrase as used in Part 2.6 of Division 6 of the
California Water Code; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto believes in planning for and im-
plementation of plans for the conservation and efficient use of urban
water supplies: and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto has duly noticed,
advertised and held a public hearing on its Urban Water Management Plan
in conformity with said Part 2.6 of Division 6 of the California Water
Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Urban Water Management Pl~n of the City of Palo
Alto comprising Chapter VIII of the City of Palo Alto's Water Utility
Plan is hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 2. The said Urban Water Management Plan shall be reviewed
or amended from time to time in accordance with state law.
SECTION 3. The preparation and adoption of the said Urban Water
Management Plan is exempt from the application of the California Envi-
romnental Quality Act by virtue of Section 10652 of the California
Water Code.
