A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALO ALTO SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON AN URBAN
WA'rER MANAGEME:NT PLAN AS REQUIRED BY' PART 2. 6
OF DIVISION 6 OF THE CALH'ORNIA WATER CODE
WHEREAS, consistent with Part 2.6 of Division 6 of the California
Water Code, the City of Palo Alto has prepared an Urban Water Manage-
ment Plan and included it as Section VIII of the Palo Alto Water Utili-
ty Plani and
WHEREAS, Part 2.6 of Division 6 of the Califor!"lia Water Code re-
quires that prior to adopting said plan that it be available for public
inspection and that a public hea~ing be held thereon1
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Notice is hereby given that on the 21st day of
October, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter
may be heard, the City Council of the City of Palo Alto will hold a
public hearing on an Urban Water Management Plan as provided in Section
10642 of the California Water Code. Said plan will be available for
public inspection not later than October 15, 1985, in the office of the
City Clerk..
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish, pursuant
to California Government Code Section 6066, a copy of this resolution
as notice of the time and place of such public hearing.
SECTION 3. After said public hearing, council intends to either
adopt-the Urban Water Management Plan as prepared or as modified after
the hearing.
