RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
PETER ROBERT TRALONGO
UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, Peter Robert Tralongo has served the City of Palo Alto
from Nove;nber 28, 1960 through May 24, 1985, as Firefighter and Fire
Apparatus Operator in the Palo Alto Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, Peter Robert Tralongo has pursued his duties for safety
of our citizens with enthusiasm, thoroughness, common sens~, f;irness,
compassion, and courtesy; and
WHEREAS, Peter Robert Tralongo has taken an active part in Fire
Department programs such as fire suppression, fire training, fire
prevention, anc fire administration; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts and contributions of Peter Robert
Tralongo, the City continues to occupy a position of respect in terms
of emergency services provided to its citizens by the City Fire
Department; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the
meritorious service of Peter Robert Tralongo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby commends the outstanding public service of Peter
Robert Tralongo and records its appreciation, as well as the
appreciation of the citizens of this community, for the service and
contribution rendered during his 25 years of employment with the
city.
