The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to section 12.20.010 of the Palo Alto Muni-
cipal Code, Schedules s-1 (Domestic Wastewater Collection and Disposal)
and S-2 (Commercial Wastewater Collection and Disposal) of the Palo
Alto Utilities Rates and Charges hereby are amended to read as shown on
Sheets S-1-l, S-2-1. and s-2-2, respectively, attached hereto and in-
corporated herein.
SECTION 2. This Council finds that the revenue derived from the
authorized adjustments of said rates by the City Manager shall be used
only for the purposes set forth in the Palo Alto City Charter, Article
VII, Section 2, entitled •public Utilities Revenue•. The adoption of
this resolution, is, th~refore, specifically exempted under Public
Resources Code Section 21080(D)(8) from the ~equirements of CEQA.
SECTION 3. The foregoing changes shall become effective July 1,
1985 ..

Charges for large discharges (25.000 gallons per day or greater) will be
determined on t.~~ basis of s1111>11ng as outlined fn Utilities Rule and Regulation 23C. Annual charges w111 be determined and allocated monthly.
