RESOL U Ti ON OF THE CO UMC IL OF THE CITY OF
PALO ALTO IN SUPPORT OF KZSU'S FUND RAISIMG
CAMPAIGN
WHEREAS, KZSU has broadcast the Monday night Cf ty Counc 11
meetings sfnce 197Z, as well as election night results and other
special events; and
WHEREAS. KZSU f s in the unique position of relying solely
upon sponsorship fro• re sf den ts of Stan ford, Pa 1 o A 1 to and the
surrounding communities for fts operation; and
WHEREAS, KZSU is holding an on-air fund ra1s1ng campaign
during the week of May 11-18. 1985 to help offset station
maintenance and repaf r costs for the upcoming year; and
WHEREAS, the wee it's progra•11f ng wfl 1 feature spec 1 al enter-
tai n•ent events, as well as public affairs, news .and sports
coverage.
NOW. THEREFORE• BE IT RESOL YED that the Counc i 1 of the City
of Palo Alto hereby urges that all citizens and businesses in
the City of Palo Alto recognize the excellent public service of
radfo statfon KZSU and contribute to its support.
