RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
FRED NAY.\ MENA
UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, Fred Nava Mena has served the City of Palo Alto from
Septe11ber 17, 1951 to April 30, 1985 as Motor Equipment Mechariic,
prfmarfly fn the body damage repair section; and
WHEREAS, Fred Nava Mena has pursued his duties for the City with
enthusiasm, thoroughness, common sense, fairness, compassion and
courtesy; and
WHEREAS, Fred Nava Mena has taken an .tct1ve part in a11 phases
of services to City equipment and app11ed himse1 f to learning the
needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts and contr1 bu ti ons of Fred Nava
Mena, the City continues to present a fleet that is serviceable, safe
and looks good to the citizens of the City of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the C 1 ty of Pa 1 o Al to des 1 res to recognize the meritorious
service of Fred Nava Mena.
NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby commends the outstanding service of Fred Nava Mena
and records fts appreciation as well as the appreciation of the
cit 1 zens of this co•munf ty for the service and contrf but 1 on t"endered
during his 33 years of employment with the Cfty.
