RESOLUTION NO. 6353
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR 'RANSFER OF RIGHTS TO
CAPACITY AND ENERGY OF GEOTHERMAL GENERATING
PROJECT NUMBER 3 TO TURLOCK IRRIGATION DISTRICT
~H~~EAS, the City of Palo Alto is a party to the «Agreem~nt for
Con~t~1ction, Operation and Financing of Geothermal Generating Project
Number 3, dated as of July 1, 1983", by and among NCPA and various
Proiect Participants, as amended and supplemented, hereinafter referred
to as the "Third Phase Agreewent•: and
WHEREAS, Palo Alto desires to transfer a portion of its East Block
Entitlement Percentage of the capacity and energy of the Project under
the Third Phase Agreement to the Turlock Irrigation District:
NOW, ThEREFORE, the Council of the City ·of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION l. The "Agreement for Transfer of Rights to Capacity and
Energy of Geothermal Generating Project Number 3, dated as of October
l, 1984, By and Amung the City of Biggs, City of Gridley, City of
Healdsburg, City of Lodi, City of Palo Alto, City of Roseville, City of
Ukiah, Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative, and Turlock Irrigation
District" is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to
execute the same on behalf of the City of Palo Alto.
SECTION 3. The Council tinds and determines that none of the
provisions of ~his resolution ~ill have any significant environmental
effect.
