RESOLUTION NO. 6342
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF TBB CifY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING AND ~DOPTING CHANGES IN THE CITY OF PALO
ALTO S RBSTRICTBD PARKING ZONES
WHEREAS, there is a need to establish new parting-prohibited, two-
hour parking, 20-minute loading, and unrestricted parking zones in
order to maintain the safe, orderly flow of traffic in the City of Palo
Altoi and ·
WHEREAS, Palo Alto !tunicipal Code Section 10.44.010 enables the
City Council by ordinance or resolution to establish parking restric-
tions or prohibitions as may be necessaryi
HOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SBCTION 1. The changeo in the City's restric.. ... ed parking zones
identified In Exhibits •A-1• -•A-3•, attached·hereto and incorporated
herein by reference, are hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 2. The Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that this
project qualities for a Class 1 Categorical Exemption under CBQA guide-
lines (Section 15301--Existing Facilities) and procedures adopted by
the City of Palo Alto, and therefore no f~rtber environaental assess-
ment is necessary.
