RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO DERK VYN
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS, Derk Vyn has served the C1ty of Palo Alto as a
member of the Arch1tectural Rev1ew Board from its first meeting on
June 28, 1973 to Ser.tember 30, 1984; and
WHEREAS, Derk Vyn has given unselfishly of h1s t1me.
talents, and professfonal ab111t1es to assist in gu1d1ng the
growth and development of the Cfty 1n the best interests of the
total comMunity; and
WHEREAS, Der~ Vyn has made a significant personal
contr1but ion to the community through his d11 igent and conscien-
tious efforts as a member of the Ar~h1tectura1 Review Board; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to recognize the
service of Derk Yyn;
NOW, THERE FORE, LET 1 T BE RE SOL YEO that the Co;; nc tl of
the C1ty of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records 1ts 6ppreciation,
as well as the apprec1at1on of the c1tfzens of the com•unity, for
outstanding publfc service rendered by Derk Vyn.
