WHEREAS. by deed dated March 12. 1963, the City of Palo Alto (CITY)
obtained drainage easements along a Portion of Adobe Creek. s~1d easements being
shown and described 1n the Quitclaint Deed attached hereto as Exhibit 1; and
WHEREAS, CITY no longer 11111nta1ns creeks and the Santa Clara Valley Water
District ~DISTRICT) now perfonns such 11a1ntenance; and
WHEREAS. CITY desires to quitclai• the subject drainage easeMnts to
DISTRICT.
NOV THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Al to does RESOLVE as
follows: ·
SECTION 1. The Council of the City of Pa1 o Alto hereby authorf zes the Mayor
to execute thi Qui tclli• Deed attae~ hereto as Exhibit I.
SECTION 2. The COu!IC11 finds that the such conveyance 1s categor1ca11y
