A RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF BONDS
UNIVERSITY AVENUE LOT J PARKING
GARAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
T~e C1ty Counc11 of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Resolut1on of Pre11mfnary Determination and of
Intentton No. 6257 <"Resolutto'l of Intent1on11 >, adopted by th1s Council on May
21, 1984, and 1ts resolution calling for bids on the sale of bonds pursuant
thereto, adopted on July 23, 1 984, notice of satd sale has been duly g1ven.
SECTION 2. Safd bfds have been rece1ved and publ tcly opened, examined
and declared, and ref~rred to this Council.
SECTION 3. That a 11 wr 1tten b 1 ds rece 1 ved for the pure ha se of s a 1 d
bonds excepting the bid herein stated, be, and th~y are hereby, rejected, and
that said bonds be, and they are hereby, sold to Merrill Lynch Capital
Markets, Merrhl Lynch P1erce Fenl"!er & Smfth, Inc., as the htghest bidder
therefor, said sale to be subject to all of the terms and conditions ~et forth
1n the notice of sale of said bonds and in said accepted b1d.
~ECTION 4. That the 01 rector of Ft nance be, and 1 s hereby. dt rected to
have satd bonds printed. and that the same be 1medfately signed, sealed and
deHvered to sa.1d bidder on receipt of the amount therefor and upon the
performance of the condtttons contatned in said nottce of sale.
SECTION 5. That the 1 nterest rate or rates of sa 1 d bonds be fhed at
the rate or rates stated tn said b1d .
