A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS .,._
UNIVERSITY AVENUE LOT J PARKING
GARAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
The City Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby RESOLVE that
Sectton 1. On May 21, 1984 this Count11 adopted Resolution No. 6257, A
Resolution of Preltmtnary Determination and of Intent1011 to Make Acqutstt1ons
and Improvements:
Section 2-.:' Notice of the tfme and place of hearing protests tn relat1on
to said proposed acqu1s1t1ons a~d 1mprovements •as duly given and all written
protests and other written coma1tm1cat1ons were publ 1cly read ~t sa1d heartng
and all persons des1r1ng to be hGard were fully heard;
Sect1on 3. That protests agatnst said acqu1sit1ons and improvements,
and/or inatters rel a<, d thereto, were not signed and duly ff led by th~ owners
of a majortty or 1ROre of the area of the lands within t.h~ assessment district,
or of the area of the lands w1th1n the as$essment d1str1ct a!;sessed for the
· ~sts and expenses of sa1d lcqcisit1ons and improvements .

Section 4. That said protests. and each of them. are overruled.

The forego1ng Resolutfon was duly and regula.rly adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of the City of Palo Alto held on the 23rd day
of Jul~· 1984, by the fol lowing vote:

Witherspoon, Woolley
