RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF 'l'tm"""CT'I'Y OF PALO ALTO
AHENDING THE PALO ALTO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY AMEND-
ING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THB VACANT PARCEL
ON WELCH ROAD PRESENTLY USED AS A HOSPITAL HELIPORT
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on May 2, 1984, held a properly-
noticed public hearing to consider an amendment of the Palo Alto Com-
prehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto doc~ RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council finds that changed conditions and the
public interest, heal th, saf~ty, and welfare require an amendment to
the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan a~ set forth in S~ction 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby recommends that the Palo Alto Com-
prehensive Plan Land Use Map be amended a~3 fol lo~.,;:
•Land Use Plan Map
a. Change the land use designation of the va-
cant parce:. on Welch Road, p'l'.:'esently used
as a hospital heliport (APN 142-23-050),
from Multiple Family Residential to Major
Institution/Special Facility, as shown on a
map attached hereto as Exhibit •A• and
incorporated herein by this reference.w
SECTION 3. The Council hereby finds that the adoption of this
resolution will not cause any significant environ~ental impact.
