RESOLUTION NO. 6275
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF ~HE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE PALO ALTO COMPREHENSIVE PLM' BY AMEND-
ING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE PARCEL ON W~LCH
ROAD PRESENTLY USED r'OR HOSPITAL PARKit<.IG
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on May 2, 1984, held a properly-
noticed putlic hearing to consider an amendment of the Palo Alto
Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council finds that chan3ed conditions and the
public interest, health, safety, and welfar~ require an amandment to
the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan as set forth in Section 2 hereof.
S~CTJON 2. The Coun~il hereby recommends that the Palo Alto
Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map be amended as follows:
"Land Use Plan Map
a. Change the land use designation of the
vacant parcel on Welch Road, presently
used for hospital parking (APN 142-23-090)
from Research/Off ice Park to Major Insti-
tution/Special Facilities, as shown on a
map attached hereto as Exhibit "A• and
incorporated herein by this reference.n
SECTION 3. The council hereby finds that the adoption of this
r:solut1on will not cause any significant environmental impact.
