Bal<er, after being injured in the of duty, continued to a:sist the department in a "limited status", contributing to the reorganization and dev~lopment fire department stores and purchasing manual, inventory records control procedure; and line duty of a and WHEHEA~, through the efforts and contributions of William G. Bal<er, the City continues to occupy a position of respect in terms of emergency servic..es provided to its citizens by the City Fire Ueµcirtment; and WHERl:.A!), the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the meritorius service of William u.
