KECOGNlZlNG THE OUTSTANDING ACHIE~EHENTS OF
OAVIU R. ~Tl£BEL
WHrnEAS, uavid R. Stiebel, a. student dt San Jose State Unhersity, has been
emµloyed by KZSU, the Stdnford University Radio station, since July 1981, as anchor
person for the broadcasting of Palo Alto City Council meetings; and
WHrnEAS, David has also covered Palo Alto events for National Public Radio, AP
Radio Network, and UPI Radio N~twork during this period; and
WH£1u::AS, L>avid has performed these duties enthusiastically and well and has
contributed greatly to the successful Droadcasting of Palo Alto events; and
WHF.HEAS, David has now graduated frrnn San Jose State and is leaving KZSU to take
a new position with KVON Radio station in Napa; and
WHEKEAS, Uavid hds been of great dSSistance to the Palo Alto City Council and
statf in broadcasting the Council meet 1 ngs, interviews 111i th Council members, e I ecti on
night results, ana other special events; and
WHE~EAS. the Council of the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the
outstanding achievements of Uavid R. Stiebel.
NUW, THEREFO~E. 8E IT ~ESULVEU, that the City Council of the City of Palo Alto
expresses its apprt!ciat1on and gratHude to David R. Stiebel and recognizes his
outstanding work as anchor person of the City Counci 1 meetings and wishes him
continued success in his broadcasting career.
