K~SOLUTION UF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
COMMENOlNG THl OUSTANOING PUBLIC SERVICE OF
GARY P. FAZZINO
AS COUNCILMEM~E~ AND AS VICE MAYOR OF PALO ALTO
WHEREAS, Gary P. Fazzino served the City of Pa lo Alto as
Councilmember from July 1 1 1977 to December 31 1 1983; and
WHLREAS, Councilmember Fazzino served as Vice Mayor of Palo
Alto from January 1 to June 27, 1983; and
WHEl{l:AS, Councilrnember Fazzino served as Chairperson of the
Policy and Procedures Committee from July 1, 1979 [0 June 30, 1980,
and as Chairperson cf th~ Finance and Public Works Committee from
December 1980 to June 30, 1981; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Fazzino has given unselfishly of his
time and talents to provide effective leadership on behalf of the
total community; and
WHEREAS, during his service on the Council, Gary Fazzino has
represented the City of Palo Alto at numerous State, regional. arid
l oca 1 meetings; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts and contributions of
Councilmember Fazzino the City of Palo Alto has continued to occupy a
position of eminence in terms of the quality of services provided to
its citizens; and
Wl-!E~EAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the
meritorious service of Councilmember Gary P. Fazzino.
NUW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby commenas the outstanding public service of
uary P. Fazzino and records its appreciation, as well as the
appreciat1on of the citizens of this community for the service
rendered and contributions made during his term on the Council.
