~E~OLUTlON OF THE CUUNClL OF THE CITY UF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSlNG APPRECIATION TO
ZOE CATHERIN£ FAGAN
U~ON HER RETIREMENT
wHEkEAS, Zoe Catnerine Fagan retired on December 29, 1983,
as £xecutive Secretary for the Fire Cnief after 18 years of
continuous service with the Palo Alto Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, Zoe Catherine Fagan served as a public servant for
the City of Palo Alto Tre~surer 1 s and Tax Collector'~ Offic~ for
9 years for a total of 27 years; and
WHEREAS, Zoe Catherine Fagan's k.nowledge of her job and
sens i ti vi t y to her peers and pub 1 i c made her an except i on al
employee and co-worker; dnd
WHEREAS, her conscientiousness was an inspiration to others
in her ability to handle alt types of people and situations; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto acknowledges their losing a
valuable, highly respected and dedicated employee; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto is proud of her work
performance and appreciative of a11 her efforts and devotion.
NOW, iHEREFO~E, i3£ IT RESULVEO that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation of the
citizens of this community for faithful service rendered to the
City and extends to Zoe Catherine Fagan its sincere best wishes
for a long and happy retirement.
