THE CRESCENT PA~K I UTILITY UNOE~GROUNU!NG PROJECT. ~HE~EAS, as a result of an underground utility conversion project, all utility services previously provided by rear yard utility p~les have been relocated to front yard underground services and the rear lot pole 1 i ne easements have therefore beccme surplus; and .. WHEREAS, the C•Juncil of the City of Palo Al to intends to vacate such easements according to the procedures set forth in California Streets and Highways Code Uivision 9. Part 3 Chapter 4 (Section 8330 et. seq.); and WHt:~EAS, the proposed adoption of this resolution by the Council has been pub\ished in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, from all evidence sutmitted, the Council finds that said easements as desGribed herein are not necessary for present or prospective public use as a public utility easements, and therefore, may be vacated. NUW, THE~tFORE, tne Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SEGTlON 1. The Council of the City of Palo Alto, in accordance with Streets and "Hfghways COde ~330 et. seq., does hareby order that said easements, as described in Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B, which Exhibits are attached hereto and incorporated herein, are hereby ~acated. ,. • r ·' r..·r;nvri 2.. The Council finds that tne project is categorically exempt from the requirenents of the California Quality Control Act and no environmental assessment is necessary. 'st::CTWN 3. The Real Property Administrator shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Santa Clara and upon such recordation the vacdtion sha1 I be deemed complete. All those certain easements, indicated as Public Utilities Easements and shown on that certain map entitled 11 Tract No. 62 Mayfair", which map was recorded in Book 3 of Maps at pages 6 and 7 on September 29, 1937$ Santa Clara County Records,California. Excspting therefrom the westerly 10 feet of Block 133 and the westerly 10 feet of the southerly 88.25 feet of Block 132 as said Blocks are shewn on said map. 4. All those certain easements~ ~abeled "10 Pole line easement" and shown on that certain map entitled 11 Tract No. 22 Staller Subdivision,0 which map was recorded in Book Y . cf Maps at pages 48 and 49 on December 16, 1931, Santa Clara County Records, California. Excepting therefrom those easements crossing lots 8 thru 15 of block 128 as said lots and block are shown on said map of Tract No. 22.
