HESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
ROBERT A. HARVEY FOR HIS YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS. Robert A. Harvey has served as a police officer
for the c;ty of Palo Alto for ten years; and
WHEREAS, Robert A. Har'ley was recognized as energet1c,
thorough, sk11lfu1 and professional; and
WHEREAS, Robert A. Harvey was promoted to sergeant in
September 1979, lieutenant in July 1981, and captain 1n January
1983; and
~HEREAS, Captain Harvey has given unself1shly of his time
and talent to provide outstanding leadership for the police
department; and
WHEREAS, Captain Harvey has pursued his duties with
dignity, enthusiasm, common sense. fairness and courtesy; and
WHEREAS. the City Council 1s proud of his wor~.
performance and apprec1ates his efforts and ded1cation.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Counci 1 of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefu11y records its appreciation of
