AMENDING THE PALO ALTO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY AMEND-
ING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE PROPERTY KNOWN
AS THE ITT PROPERTY IN PALO ALTO BAYLANDS FROM OPEN
SPACE CONTROLLED DEVELOPMENT TO PUBLICLY OWNED
CONSERVATION LAND
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a review and on
June 15, 1983, held a properly-noticed public hearing to consider
amendment of the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council finds that changed conditions and the
public interest, health, safetyf and welfare require amendment to the
Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan as set forth in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby amends the Palo Alto Comprehensive
Plan as follows:
•Land Use Plan Map
a. Change the land use designation of the
property known as the ITT Property in
Palo Alto Baylands from Open Space Con-
trolled Development to Publicly Owned
Conservation Land, as shown on a map
attached hereto as Exhibit •A" and incor-
porated herein by this reference.•
SECTION 3. The Council hereby finds that the adoption of this
resolution will not cause any significant environmental impact.
