RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF ~E CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE PALO ALTO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY AMEND-
ING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE PROPERTY KNOWN
AS THE HEWLETT-MULLEN PROPERTY FROM OPEN SPACE CON-
TROLLED DEVELOPMENT TO PuBLICLY OWNED CONSERVATION
LANDS
WRERE~S, the Planning Commission has conducted a review and on
June 15, 1983, held a properly-noticed public hearing to consider
amendment of the Palo Alto ~omp-ehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The Council finds that changed conditions and the
public interest, health, safety, and welfare require amendment to the
Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan as set forth .in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby amends the Palo Alto Comprehensive
Plan as follows:
•Land Use Plan Map
a. Change the land use designation of the
property known as t~1e Hewlett-Mullen
Property (78.2 acres between Foothills
Park and Country Club Estates) from Open
Space Controlled Development to Publicly
Owned Conservation Lands, as shown on a
map attached hereto as Exhibit "A.. and
incorporated herein by this reference.•
SECTION 3. The Council hereby finds that the adoption of this
resolution will not cause any significant environmental impact.
