RESOLUTION NO. 6165
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ACCEPTING A DEED CONVEYANCE BY THE LEE-PAULSEN
PARTNERSHIP TO THE CITY OF PALO ALTO OF APPROXI-
MATELY 7.7 ACRES AOJOINING FOOTHILLS PARK
WHEREAS, the Russel V~ Le~ Trust, established June 18, 1977,
gifted to the City of Palo Alto approximately 7. 7 acres adjoining
Foothills Park for conservation purposes, including park and recreation
purposes, on March 14, 1981~ and
WHEREAS, due to interim conveyances this property has a cloud on
its title1 and,
WHEREAS, the Lee-Paulsen Partnership, owner of the adjoining prop-
erties now wishes to remove the cloud on title on the City property and
establish a comm.on boundary between its land and the City's by quit-
claiming the 7.7 acres to the City: and
WHEREAS, the City desires to accept said quitclaim deed for the
benefit of its citizens and to establish the COHDllon boundary line
between the parcels owned by the City and the Lee-Paulsen Partnershipr
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RE~'lLVE
as followac
SECTION 1. 'l'bis council hereby accepts the approximately 7. 7
acres a>nveyed by the Lee-Paulsen Partnership by the quitclaim deed
attached hereto as Exhibit •A•.
SECTION 2. The mayor is authorized to execute the acceptance of
said parcel and such other docuaents as are necessary to obtain said
land.
SEC'l'ION 3. The Council of the City of Palo Al to finds that this
is not a project and, therefore, no environmental impact assesseaents
necessary
