RESOLUTION 0? THE COUNCIL OF THE ~ITY OF PALO AL'l.'O
AMENDING THE PALO ALTO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY AMEND-
ING TRE LANO USE DESIGNATION OF A PORTION OF THE
PROPERTY AT 2850 MIDDLEFIELD ROAD [FORMER HOOVER
SCHOOL SITE] FROM SCHOOL DISTRICT LANDS TO MULTIPLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL AND PUBLIC PARKS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a review and on
June 29, 1983, held a properly-noticed public hearing to consider
amendment of the Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The council finds that changed conditions and the
public interest, heal th, safety, and welfare require amendment to the
Palo Alto Comprehensive Plan as set forth in-Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby amends the Palo Alto Comprehensive
Plan as follows:
•Land Use Plan Map
a. Change the land use designation of a por-
t ion of the property at 2850 Middlefield
Road froa School District Lands to Multi-
ple Family Residential and Public Parks,
as shown on a map attached hereto as
Exhibit •A• and incorporated herein by
this reference.•
SECTION 3. The council hereby finds that the adoption of this
resolution will not cause any significant environmental impact.
