RESOLUTION NO. 6156
RESOLUTION OF TBE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING SUBSTITUTION OF THE SIG-
NATURE OF CLAYTON E. BROWN, INTERIM CONTROLLER, AS
AUTHORIZED SIGNATURE ON BANK ACCOUNTS WITH CROCKER
NATIONAL BANK AND BANK OF AMERICA IN PLACE OF
ALFRED J. MITCHELL, TO BE EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 1983
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Palo Alto has heretofore established
several bank accounts with Crocker National Bank and several accounts
with Bank of America as paying agent fo~ certain general obligation and
special assessment bonds. Alfred J. Mitchell, City Controller, is an
authorized signature on all of these accounts.
SEC'l'ION 2. Effective September 1 , 1983, Clayton E. Brown is
appointed Interim City Controller and tbe signature of Clayton E. Brown
is hereby authorized on the above-mentioned accounts in place and stead
of Alfred J. Mitchell, effective Reptember 1, 1983.
SECTION 3. The Clerk is the signature of

copies of this resolution each containing an original signature of
Clayton E. Brown.
Introduced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council of the
City of Palo Alto held Konday, the 25th day of July , 1983,
by the following vote:
AYES; Bechtel, Cobb, Eyerly, Fazzino, Fletcher, Kleins Levy, Renzel,
Witherspoon
