RESOLUTION NO. 6099
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
APPROVING AND AOOPTING A NEW PARKING-PROHIBITED
ZONE ON EMBARCADERO ROAD EAST OF BAYSHORE
WHEREAS, there is a need to establish a new parking-prohibited
zone in order to maintain the safe, orderly flow of traffic in the City
of Palo Altn• and
WHEREAS, Palo Alto Municipal Code Section 10.44.010 enables the
City Council by ordinance or resolution to establish such parking
restrictions or prohibitions as may be necessary:
NOW, THEREFORE, the council of the City Of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
a:s follows:
SECTION 1. The parking-prohibited zone on the souther.ly side of
Embarcadero Road from about 320 feet west of Faber Place to a point
about 200 feet east of Embal:cadero Way identified ir Exhibit •A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 2. The Council of the City of Palo Alto finds that these
projects qualify for a Class 1 Categoi:ical Exemption under. CEQA guid~
lines and procedures adopted by the City of Falo Alto and, therefore,
no further environmental assessment is necessary.
