RESOLUTION NO. 5965
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO DONALD H. MAYNOR FOR
YEARS OF SERVICE
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
that:
WHEREAS, Don Maynor has served the City of Palo Al to for nearly
five years as an Assistant City Attorney f~om January 1977 to December
1978, as a Senior Assistant City Attorney from December 1978 to June
1981, and as Acting City Attorney from Ju~e 1981 through the present;
and
WHEREAS, Don Maynor has given unselfishly of his time and talent
to provide outstanding legal counsel to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Don Maynor has developed an expertise in the field of
utilities that is an indispensable asset to the City: and
WHEREAS, Don Maynor has pursued his duties with enthusiasmf thor-
oughness, common sense, fairness, and courtesy: and
WHEREAS, through the efforts and contributions of Don Mdynor, the
City continues to occupy a position of eminence in terms of the quality
of service:s provided to its citizens by the City A' torney•s Office;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Al-:-o desires to recognize the merito-
rious service of Don Maynor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Coun=i 1 of the City of
Palo Alto hereby commends the outstanding public service of Don Maynor
and records its appreciation as well as the appreciation of the citi-
zens of this community for the service and contribution rendered during
his employment with the City.
