RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS
F~ ANCHORit«i OF THE KZSU RADIO BROADCAST CF MONDAY N!GHT
CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
WHEREAS, members of the League of Women Voters have served the City of Palo
by introducing and sufllilarizing the KZSU radio broadcasts of City Council meetings
on Monday nights, since September of 1977; and
WHEREAS, the League has given unselfishly of its time and energy helping to
ensure Palo Alto residents have the opportunity to keep abreast of issues affecting
the conmunity; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to recognize the tremendous contributions
made by the League through its anchoring of the radio broadcast.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby
conmends the outstanding comnunity service provided by the League of Women Voters
and records its appreciation as well as the appreciation of the citizens of this
colTITlunity.
