RESOLUTION NO. 5941
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AUTHORIZING A DETERMINATION BY LOT OF THE ORDER Of
CANDIDATES 1 NAMES ON THE BALLOT -
NOVEMBER 3. 1981 EL~CTION
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto has scheduled a General Mun1c1pal
Election for November 3, 1981, to elect five Councilmembers; and
WHEREAS, Article VII, Section 3, empowers the City Council to
determine the order of listing the c~nd1dates' names co the ballot
by 1 ot;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The order of listing the canrlidates' names on the bal-
lot for the November 3, 1981 City of Palo Alto election shall be deter-
mined by lot on September 8~ 1981. The City Clerk is directed to
arrange such procedure~
SECTION 2. The Council finds that none of the provisions of this
resolution will have a significant adverse environmental impact.
