HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 5905•· ... • ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. ig~ RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL Of' THTY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1889 TO MODIFY THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE P-C DISTRICT KNOWN AS 2800 WEST BAYSHORE ROAD The council of the City ot Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1889, adopted September 28, 1§59, and subsequently amended by Resolution No. 5073 on March 31, 1975, Resolution No. 5231 on July 19, 1976, and Resolution No. 5435 on July 18, 1977, is hereby amended to modify the Development P- lan tor the P-C District at 2800 West Bayshore Road in accordance with Exhibit •A• attached hereto ana incorporated hereby, by adding to such section the to1low1n9 conditions: 1. Use Amendment of P-C zone 1889 to allow an expansion of 5,900 square teet tor warehouse use and 500 square teet for an expanded lunch room. 2. Improvements a. A!l improvements and development shall be substan- tially in accordance with the approved development plans, with all applicable codes and ordinances, ana with the requirements ot the Director of Public Works/ Eng1neer1n9, the Director of Utilities, and the Chief of the Palo Alto Fire Department. b. A final landscape plan shall be submitted to the Arch- itectural Review Board tor approval and shall include out not be limitea to: 1. New Lanascaping at the north corner to include: a~ Plantanus Aceritolia b. Ceratonia Seliqua c. Arbutus Unedo 2. New landscaping along the west and southwest Greer Park boundaries, as required to provide effective screening between the Park and the subject prop- erty. 3. A •truck entrance only• sign at the truck en- trance. c. Dumpsters will be located in the area of the truck dock. 1. Ott-street Parking a. Tne plan provides 90 parking spaces, of which 2 are for handicapped access. b. Two or three parking spaces are to be removed from the end ot the centra~ parking bay to a!low better deliv- ery truck maneuverability. 4. Development Schedule Construction shall commence no later than six months after the effective date of this resolution* Completion ot con- struction shall be within 12 months from the start of con- struction. • • ... • SECTION 2. All other provisions of Ordinance No. 1889 shall re- main ln full force and effect as originally adopted. ~ECTION J.
