RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO NAPHTALI KNOX
FOR YfARS OF SERVICE

Naphtali Knox served t~P. City of Palo Alto for nine and one
half years as Director of Planning and Community Environment;
and
Naphtali Knox has given unselfishly of his time and talents to
provide effective leadership on behalf of the Palo Alto
community; and
through the efforts and contribution of Naphtali Knox the City
of Palo Alto has continued to occupy a position of eminence in
the planning field; and
the City of Palo Alto desires to express its heartfelt
gratitude for these important contributions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the C~uncil of the City of Palo Alto
hereby commends Naphtali Knox for his outstanding public
service and records its appreciation as we11 as that of the
citizens of Palo Alto for the service and devotion rendered
during his employment with the city.
