RESOLUTION or THE COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF PALO AL'tO
RESOLVING ITS INTENTION TO MAICE CHANGES AND MODlFICATIONS
UNIVERSITY AVENUE AREA OFF-STR£ET PARKING
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 75-638
$175,000 BONDS OP 1980 •
WHEREAS, $175,000 in bonds wer~ issued in 1980 for the Univer-
sity Avenue Area Off-Street ~ark1n9 Assessment District No. 75-638
and this Council now wishes to consiaer changes and modifications
with respect to the use ot sa1a t>onds;
NOW, THEREFORE, the counc11 ot tbe city ot Palo Alto does
RESOLVK as to11ows:
SECTION 1. The Council ot the city of Palo Alto resolves that
the public interest, convenience, and necessity require, and that it
is the intention ot thi& Council to maKe the to11owing changes and
modifications in the proceea1r.9s under and pucsuant to Resolution of
Intention No. 5242 adopted Dy this Council on August 9, 1976, to
wit:
1. use the $J7,0uo ot unexpended 1980 oond proceeds
tnat remain atter completion ot the authorized
acqu1s1tion and improvements for the purposes of
conduct1n9 a Downtown Packing Feasibility Study
under a new Capital Improvement Project No. 80-70.
SECTION ~. Notice is hereb}' given that Monday, the l1th day of
April, 19Bf, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Ch.ambers, 250
Haa11ton Avenue, Palo A.lto, ca11tot:n1a, are .~reby futea as tbe time
and place tor hearing thereon ana wnen anu where any interested per-
son aay appear before the Council and show causes why tne changes
should not be ordered and when and whare this Council will conaiaer
the matter ot making said Qhange ana lllOd1f 1catlon and near all pro-
tests and persons interested therein.
SECTION J. Ted Noguchi, Director ot Transportation ot the C1ty
ot Palo Alto, is hereby designated as the person to ansver lnqu1r1es
re9ara1nq tne protest proceea1ngs to be had herein, and ••Y be con-
tacted during regular ott1ce hours at the city Hall, Fifth Floor, or
by cal!ing (415) 329-2160.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of Palo Alto shall cause
a copy of this resolution to be published twice in the Peninsula
Times Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Palo
AJto and the paper in which the Notice of Improvement under said
Resolution of Intention was published. The first of said publica-
tions shall be at least ten days prior to said hearing date.
