RRSOLUTION NO. 5893
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ESTABLISHING ITS APPROPRIATIONS LIMITATIONS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE XIII B OF THE CALIFORNIA
CONSTITUTION FOR FISCAL YEAR 1980-1981
WHEREAS, Article XIII B of the California Constitution, in
c0njunction with the provhiions of SB 1352, require this Council
to establish an appropriations limitation for each fiscal year J
and
WHEREAS, the City Controller has analyzed the revenues and
expenditures of the City of Palo Alto, as set forth in Exhibits
"A" and "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference
and made this resolution and exhibits available to the public as
required by law1 and
WHEREAS, this Council has considered the analysis of the City
Controller;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Cc..uncil of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The appropriations limitation for fiscal year
1980-1981, as defined in Article XIII B of the California
Constitution, is hereby established at Twenty-six Million Two
Hundred Thirty Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-four ($26,230,624) ..
SECTION 2. The Council finds that the enactment of this
resolution is not a project within the meaning of the California
Environmental Quality Act and, therefore, no environmental
assessment is necessary.
