JACKSON FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE VISUAL ARTS ,lURY WHEREAS, Gordon F. Jackson served the City of Palo Alto as a member of the Visual Arts Jury from March 22. 1976 to January 31, 1981; and WHEREAS, Gordon F. Jackson has given unselfishly of his time and talents to assist in guiding the growth and development of the City in the best interests of the total community; and WHEREAS, Gordon F. Jackson has made a significant personal con- tribution to the conmunity through his diligent and conscientious efforts while serving as a member of the Visual Arts Jury; and WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to recognize the service of Gordon F. Jackson. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation, as well as the appreciation of the citizens of the c0111T1unity, for th~ outstanding public service rendered by Gordon F. Jackson.
