RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO MARILYN F. WILLIAMS
FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF
THE HUMAN RELATIONS COfilltISSION
ORIGINAL
WHEREAS, Marilyn F. WHliams served the City of Palo Alto as a
member of the Human Relations Comn1ssion from January 1, 1974 to
December 31, 1980; and
WHERCAS, Marilyn F. Williams served as Chairperson of the Human
Relations Consniss1on in 1977 and 1978; and
WHEREAS, Marilyn F. Williams has given unselfishly of her time and
talents to assist 1n guiding the growth and development of the City in the
best interests of the total conmun1ty; and
WHEREAS, Marilyn F. Williams has made a significant personal con-
tribution to the cOlllllUnity through her diligent and conscientious efforts
while serving as a member of the Human Relations C0111111ss1on; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to recognize the service of
Marilyn F. Williams.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation~ as well as the appreciation
of the citizens of the conmunity. for the outstanding public service
rendered by Har11yn F. Williams.
