RESOLUTION NO. 5872
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
GEORGE E. BRIGGS UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, GEORGE E. BRIG€S retires on February 6, 1981 as Supervisor,
Electric Utility, after thirty-two and a half years of continuous service
with the City of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council 1s proud of his work perfonnance and
appreciative of his efforts and dedication toward municipal services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation as well as the appreciation
of the citizens of this c011111Un1tj-for faithful service rendered to the City
and extends to GEORGE E. BRIGGS its sincere best wishes for a long and
happy retirement.
