RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SCHEDULE S-2 OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
UTILITIES RATES AND CHARGES TO DELETE THE INDUSTRIAL
COST RECOVERY RATES roR LARGE INDUSTRIAL SEWAGE
DISCHARGERS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 12.20.010 of the Palo Alto
MunicTPal Code, Schedule S-2 (Commercial Sewage Collection and
Disposal) of the Palo Alto Utilities Rates and Charges are hereby
amended to read as proposed in Sheets 123j and 123.1b, attached
hereto.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby finds that the adoption of said
rates and the revenues derived therefrom shall be used only for the
purposes set out in the Palo Alto City Charter, Article VII, Section
2, entitled, •public Utilities Revenue.• The adoption of said rates
is specifically exempted from the requirements of CEQA under Public
Resources Code Section 21080(b)(8).

RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
DELMAR D. WILCOX UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS. DELMAR 0. WILr~J. retires on February 6. 1981 as Electric
Underground Inspector after twenty-eight years of continuous service with
the City of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS. the City Council 1s proud of his work perfonnance and
appreciative of his efforts and dedication toward municipal services;
HOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo
Alto hereby gr1tefully records its appreciation as well as the appreciation
of the citilens of this connunity for faithful service rendered to the City
and extends to DELMAR D. WILCOX its sincere t:est wishes for a long and
happy retirement.
