NSBREAS, this Cuun~il has considered and approved bike path routes
in the Baylands area and now wtanes to authorize City statt to accept a
c;rant tram the State Coastal Conftttrvancy for construction ot a b1Jc:e
path in the Baylz-.1da frOll the Athletic Center on Genq Road to weeks
Road in East Palo Alto.
NOtf. TffERBPOR!, the Council ot the City ot Palo Alto does RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council autnor1aea C1ty statt to accept qrant
funds 01r011 the State Coastal Conservancy for the pu~pose ot conctruct-
in9 a bike path 1n the Baylands f r010. the Athletic Center on Geng Road
to Weeks Road in Bast Palo Alto.
SSCTIOR 2. The City Manager, ot b1a de119nee, 1• designated aa
the offtcfa! representative of the City of Palo Alto and is authorised
to complete auc:h. docwaenta aa artt neceaaary for tne State Coastal
Conservancy.
SBCTION 3. The Council ot the City o~ Palo Alto find• that this

theretore, no environmental impact aeseasaent 1• necessary.
